Brazil Eido Miranda

Brazil Eido Miranda

The story begun in 1967 when 'Fazenda Edio Miranda' an estate of 28 hectares was acquired by Edio Miranda and his wife Maria Aparecida Milagres Miranda. From a land that had no usage, the couple turned it into a major source of income for the family with coffee production. It is located inside the Parque Estadual da Serra do Brigadeiro National Park. Surrounded by numerous waterfalls and beautiful mountain views, the coffee started production of coffee 15 years ago with a focus on better post-harvest processing. Since their change in quality practices, the farm has been awarded with numerous awards at regional coffee competitions.

Edio and Maria's children are also involved in the production and coffee processing is done exclusively by the family members at their own property.

We submitted this coffee to the 2020 Australian International Coffee Awards (AICA) recently and it won a Bronze medal in the Espresso, Single Origin category.

Tasting Notes

Cocoa and citrus fruit aromas. Beautiful citric acidity balanced by a sugary sweetness of riped citrus fruits. A well balanced and aromatic cup. It has a pleasant and syrupy mouthfeel with a lingering milk chocolate like aftertaste.
