Since being established in Melbourne over 50 years ago, Coffex now has the capacity to do contract coffee roasting for private label and other brands all over Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Perth. As one of the largest coffee manufacturers in the Southern Hemisphere, Coffex has the complete package under the one roof. We use top of the line contract coffee roasters, source green beans, roast, package, warehouse and distribute internationally. Our plant in Brunswick, Melbourne has a 300-kilogram Brambati coffee roaster machine (fully closed-loop system) and 120-kilogram and 22-kilogram Probat coffee roasters. The roasting facilities enable Coffex to roast up to 30 tonnes of coffee per week. The huge amount of coffee that is roasted every day is warehoused and packed at the same plant. We have the ability to roast coffee in large quantities for commercial use as well as in smaller bespoke batches.
The packaging plant has been set up to pack and fill 8,000 retail brick pack (250 gram) vacuum packets per day. Additionally, our packaging plant can pack beans and ground coffee in 3KG, 1KG, 500 grams and 250 grams with vacuum seal or with airlock valves that keep the beans at their optimum freshness. The foils used are of premium quality and come in a range of colours and blank finishes so that they can be uniquely branded for retail stores or specific coffee shops.
Coffex has an extensive distribution network set up. Coffex currently exports all over the Asia-Pacific regions into China, Indonesia & Malaysia and New Zealand with experience in export documentation and container filling.
