On Saturday the 4th of May, Global Cafe Direct will be working alongside the Whitehorse Pioneers Football & Netball Club, to help host their ‘Ladies Day’ event, to raise funds for the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF).
The Global Cafe Direct Barista team will be at the grounds on the day from 1-5pm, serving up freshly brewed coffee for all spectators, with 100% of sales being donated to the NBCF. Be sure to come by and grab a coffee, watch the game, and support this fantastic cause. Entry is $25.
Not only that, but Global Cafe Direct will also be running a market stall on the day, selling merch including Tees, Beanies and Bags.
The Bean Alliance Group and Global Cafe Direct are also very proud and excited to be undertaking a corporate partnership with the NBCF in 2024.
The National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) receives no government funding, has been operating since 1994, and is Australia’s leading not for profit organisation raising much needed funds for breast cancer research. They have invested over $200M into more than 600 world-class research projects since their inception, all as part of achieving their ultimate goal of Zero deaths from breast cancer by 2030.
Since this original inception, death rates from breast cancer in Australia have improved by over 40%, but there is still a way to go, and the job isn’t done yet…

With the ongoing support of Australian donors including businesses and individuals, the NBCF can continue their efforts to fund life changing and lifesaving research into the prevention and treatment of breast cancer. This research will help improve the lives of those living with breast cancer now, as well as those who will be diagnosed in future.
