Exciting things are brewing at Coffex

For the 4th year running, we’re excited to be an official partner of both the Porche Carerra Cup Australia and the Porche Michelin GT3 Cup Challenge Australia championship in 2019.
Being involved in the series since 2015, we now look forward to the opportunity to provide our award-winning coffee and tea to everyone included in the events. It’s the perfect addition to the race environment, and we have a passion for sharing our top-quality roasts.

Just in case you missed it, the Carrera Cup Championship has been dubbed as one of the region’s best sports car series, gearing up for a bumper 2019 season. Beginning the season at the popular Adelaide 500 and Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix events, the Carrera Cup will then race at Bathurst 1000 and Gold Coast 600. That’s a lot of coffee!

This year, the Townsville 400 event is also added into the mix, making it an extremely busy race season for us at Coffex. The remaining events will be held at the iconic Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit, the ever-popular Hidden Valley Raceway in Darwin and The Bend Motorsport Park, which is a crowd favourite for both fans and the drivers.

Coffex and Porche have a strong connection with the Porche Australia Motorsport Manager Troy Bundy stating that “The benefits Coffex provide to Carrera Cup has played a crucial role in the overall racing experience for our drivers, teams, sponsors and all attending our motor racing events, evident from the tremendous feedback we receive. This expanded partnership is exciting for our motor racing programme as we continue to enhance and innovate the on- and off-track experiences for our motorsport customers.”

For this year’s series, every race of the season will be broadcast on live TV, so make sure you check your program guides and keep an eye out for Coffex.
The new agreement also coincides with the introduction of a new racing-inspired Sanremo ‘Cafe Racer’ Coffee Machine, which will be unveiled to the series at the Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix, bringing a distinct racing flavour to the Porsche Paddock in 2019.

As the championship is owned and operated by Porsche Cars Australia, the brand ensures Carrera Cup is run at the highest standard by Porsche’s in-house motorsport team.
At Coffex, we’re excited for the series to begin, and can’t wait to be a part of the events for another year.
